Braiden's 2nd and Hailey's 11th Birthday Party

Publishing this post is bittersweet for me.
I never got around to doing it for awhile and now as I sit here,  I realized why it wasn't done earlier.  This day holds a special memory in our hearts.  Not only was it a day of celebrating Braiden's 2nd and Hailey's 11th birthdays,  but a day that we got to spend watching Grandma Rose enjoy... surrounded by family, good friends and ono-licious food!
~A blessing in disguise~
Blowing up lots of Mickey balloons!
Can you see a Hidden Mickey in this picture?
Basket full of fun and favors
Our Hidden Mickeys gameboard
One table was designated all for sweet yummy-ness!!!

Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggity dog!!!
Trying to sneak a piece of ice cream jello
Grandma was so excited to enjoy the day outside as we had beautiful weather.  She stayed outside the whole time.
One by one the kids greated grandma and she wished them all happy birthdays as she gave them their birthday cards.

Checking her stats before getting her grub on!

Looks like Braiden has a mouth full of something?

Yup!!  That is TWO plates in front of grandma!!  After she was done eating I asked her how my mac salad came out.  She said it was good but needed more mayo!!! Of course she was right!!!
I LOVE grandma!!!
Auntie Dee Dee and Matthew
-He's taller than Auntie =)
Matthew entertaining with his fast solving rubiks cube skills.
A Yamamoto Family staple... Ruby's cake!!
This year we had half chocolate cake with fresh strawberry filling
and the other half was white cake with fresh mango filling.
Mickey Pops!
Doesn't look like Braiden had enough balloons!

After Braiden had his bath he enjoyed opening up his presents and literally climbed up on the couch and passed out with daddy.
He's going down....
So tired he didn't even care what position he was in....
hanging off the couch.
and he's OUT!!!

Mother's Day @ Disneyland with Auntie Katie

Mothers Day at Disneyland!!!
This weekend Hailey had her Girl Scout event at Disneyland so we decided to make our Mothers Day weekend out of it and spend the day there with Auntie Katie!  She was just as excited if not more than Braiden was to be there =)
Riding the tram into the park -Braiden was looking for sissy!
Before Hailey's Girl Scout Ceremony all the Disney characters came out in front of the castle and were dancing and singing.  Braiden had a birds eye view with Auntie Katie!
"IPEY"!!! (that's how Braiden says MICKEY
...he cuts off the first letter of some of his words)
Sharing some of his Cheerios with the ducks!
We decided to rent a wheel chair for Hailey since she grinned and bared it the previous day limping around on her bad knee =(
YAY!!! Small World!!!
Got another picture of Auntie Katie and Mr. B!!!
In line to ride Finding Nemo's Submarine Voyage
for the FIRST time!
AHA!!! and another picture!!!

BEEP BEEP!!!
Crazy drivers!
Gas is so expensive even our Autopia car was dying!
Off to the Jungle Cruise!

The story of Auntie Katie's trip has been how long would it take Braiden to warm up to her?  Of course we jinxed it and said it would be towards the end of her stay here and then she would have to leave him...sad =(
So true.  As you can see from these picture Braiden took with his Auntie Katie, he sure did bond with her!

To commemorate this beautiful day Auntie Katie bought Braiden his first MICKEY mylar balloon!
A KISS for his Mickey Balloon!!!
The smile on Braiden's face was priceless!
