Ever wonder what baby's doing when daddy's watching a Laker game?

Braiden climbed onto a box (YES! breakable stuff inside) and used it as a dancing platform...he loves to be in the center of the room where everyone can see him dancing. As you don't see BUT can hear, there is the NBA Final playoff game going on between the Lakers and Celtics. Mommy, Matthew and Hailey went to hula while Daddy stayed home to watch Braiden or should we say watch the Laker game!

Climbing

Part of my weekly cleaning involves flipping and rotating the couch cushions. A 5 minute chore has turned into a jungle gym session in the Trang Hale! Braiden has learned that climbing on things is fun! Although mommy is preventing him from climbing he still managed to pile pillows and get to the top of them. I bet he feels like he's the king of the world...or at least the King of the Trang Hale!

Ho'olaule'a here I come!

Mac Baby Makoa Hats always makes things better!

Today we are performing at the annual Northridge Ho'olaule'a. While Hailey & I were getting ready, Matthew and daddy went to get their hair cuts. When they came home daddy decided it was time for Braiden to have his 1st hair cut.

To my SURPRISE! it wasn't what I had in mind (a little TRIM of the front is what I expected) -well see for yourselves.... he is one of the guys now.

Braiden was super good while sitting in a chair that we put in our bath tub. He played with his bath toys and a squirt bottle. After awhile we had to resort to drastic measures to keep him still so a lollipop came in handy! It was well deserved!!!

Braiden got to hang out with some of our friends as well as his best buddy Koa in the audience while all of us were performing. He loved the entertainment -drumming, hawaiian music and dances buttt...

He totally lost it when he spotted mommy or daddy dancing up on stage... my goodness... our baby has a strong set of lungs! It was the first time that he was REALLY SCREAMING for us. He was brought back stage and once he saw us he was content. I think he just wanted to be a part of the performance too!!! Unfortunately we didn't get a picture of him crying.

We can never resist watching Braiden dance. Each time he dances, we see a new dance move emerge. Watch as he waves his hands in the air, spins, slides on his knees and bounces!

Braiden's First Lollipop!

We were all in the car after having a belated birthday lunch with Hailey this afternoon. Matthew and Hailey were both sucking on Dum Dum suckers that they got from the restaurant and daddy gave permission for Braiden to take a lick... see for yourselves!!!

Braiden Dancing

Mr. B has a passion for music and dancing. After all the exposure of hearing and feeling music and dance since in my tummy he can now show us his love for it! He can't keep still when he hears music and LOVES to dance to hawaiian music. He can now spin around the island! -check out his dance moves :)
