Auntie Pat & MatthewHailey and troop are participating in this years Girl Scouts International Day. They were proud to represent Japan as their country. In preparation for their big day, Auntie Pat so graciously took time to come over and teach the girls a few things about Japan :

Share some arts & crafts
....including making origami
Many troops from around the area will gather and perform a traditional song and or dance and have a booth set up to share interesting things about their representing countries. They will also serve native dishes which they will also get to sample from the other countries as well.
The girls get an opportunity to not only learn about their country of study but also to learn about the other countries that other girl scout troops are presenting.
This is sure to be a great experience!
