This past week Braiden has been making more and more funny faces. He now knows how to smile and "Say Cheese"!

Mommy's little distraction

Tonight as I was trying to get some work done on the computer, Braiden came over and was cracking up at me every time I would look at him. Of course I didn't get much done as he was a great distraction!

Rather than using his train as a walker, Braiden LOVES to ride around in it! He looks for Matthew to push him as this is their brotherly time together.

It seems as though Braiden knows which direction is right when looking at faces. He doesn't know to turn the physical object (book, toys, etc) but knows how to turn his head so that he sees the face in the right way!

9 month check-up

BRAIDEN STATISTICS

Weight : 20 pounds (35%)

Height : 29 1/4 inches (88%)

It worked out perfect that Braiden had his scheduled

9 month check-up today.

Yesterday for lunch I had prepared some brown rice and egg yolk in addition to some vegetables for Braiden. To make a long story short... he busted out in rashes as a result from an allergic reaction to the egg yolk. He has had egg yolk (hard boiled) a few weeks back and was fine but this time I had mixed the egg yolk in his rice while it was cooking. Doctor said that it was the way the yolk was prepared. That way isn't good cause not all the white gets separated therefore causing his allergic reaction.

Braiden has been fussy and not feeling well but all in all he is a trooper! ... as you can see in his picture.

I'm standing!

Braiden has been cruising around and standing by himself for the past few months but unfortunately I haven't captured a picture of him standing unassisted until this morning! We were playing ball and I finally remembered ~camera!
